Does Automation really need a connected repo?
Yes. A connected repo is the prerequisite for the Automation tab. If no repo is connected, you'll see connect steps first and the weekly cycle stays paused — auto-prep won't start until one is set up.
How do drafts get published?
Each approved draft can be published to your repo as a pull request via “Publish to repo as PR” — a two-step preview + confirm flow. The file is added on a scratch branch, so your default branch is never touched and nothing is pushed automatically.
What does it write to my repo?
Generated content pages — SEO pages, articles, FAQs, and landing pages — written as safe, self-contained files (plus FAQ schema) under a dedicated path in your repo. It never writes executable code and never modifies your existing source.
